Ya, it is a scamm. It is Nigerean scammers that want your personal info and your money. Don’t give them the money.
Just reply telling them “nice try but you’re scamm didn’t work.” and, “you might as well turn yourself in. the officers probably already know you cause you are the worst scammer ever!” Then report as a spam and your done.
The so-called “419″ scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc. Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones. Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Naturally its a scam. Nigerians are stupid, semi literate… yet some people still fall for it.
You can always tell the Nigerian paws on the scam by the way that they style themselves “Mr’, Mrs, Dr., Barrister etc as a title–something that no real hominid would do.
This variant of the 419 scam is all about identity theft. They will ask for all of your personal details first and then a scanned copy of your passport/driving license.
Soon, you will find that you have run up bills on a credit card, credit store account etc. etc.

This guy Gabby Smith, the Claims Agent ask me to submit my prize win in the State

This Claims Agent reply and provide me with a reliable counsel of the British Royal High Court by the name of Richard Coker & Associates.
The lawyer reply and thank me for my interest in their legal services.
